Every week, Jump Cut chose one Netflix Original series. We watched the first episode and the last episode of the first season of the show, and tried to guess what happened in between. This was a group contribution where each person added their own take on the same show.

In our first episode, we dive into the Frankenstein Chronicles. I was in charge of binge-watching the entire first season, while the rest of the group only watched the first and last episode. They tried to piece together what happened in the show based off of the information in the two episodes they watched, and then I came in and told them how right or wrong they were. In Week 2, we watched Sense8, a masterpiece from the Wachowski’s. I only watched the first and the last episode for this podcast, but it was so good that I went back and rewatched the rest of the season, along with season two…this show is THAT good! Listen to the podcast to see how well we predicted what happened in the first season. 

Our third podcast was centered around Greenhouse Academy. This show was so incredibly awful, but we persisted and watched it anyway! I only watched the first and last episode of this show, and I feel that, by the end of the podcast, we did not fully gather everything that had happened in the middle. Check out this episode to learn about some drama that happened at a boarding school. 

For our last podcast, we watched Everything Sucks. I was in charge of binge-watching the entire first season. While not as bad as Greenhouse Academy, this was just another cheesy show centered around the lives of incredibly average kids. This show had surprising twists and turns, like one of the kid’s mom’s falling for the school principal and one of the girl’s discovering her sexuality. An interesting find of a show. Check it out if you have nothing better to do!
